Jessica’s Gringa Flan is a knockout! I ordered one for a birthday celebration and barely got my own piece. The same group of friends asked me to bring one north when I went to visit them. Her flan is dense but smooth and creamy, and the toasted coconut flakes take it over the top! Everyone wants to know when you are going to start shipping!

I am a gringo born and raised in Miami. I have had many flans over the years as I love Cuban food and desserts. Gringa Flan is the best flan I have ever had. It is so creamy, so sweet and the coconut is so great. It isn’t like many flans you might have had. I just love it. We have made a point of having Gringa Flan at all of our many family get togethers, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. Here’s a true testimony to how good Gringa Flan is. Last Thanksgiving, our niece and nephew had asked if they could host Thanksgiving Dinner for both of their families. Now my nephew is Puerto Rican and has many Hispanic friends and family that were coming to dinner. Dinner would be for more than 35 people. I got a large Gringa Flan as one of the many desserts people were bringing. After dinner, there were pumpkin pies, pecan pies, banana cream pies and the Gringa Flan. The Gringa Flan got wiped out completely!! People were coming up to me and asking where did this great flan come from and how could they get some. Every time I bring a Gringa Flan to an event, it gets completely consumed. My mother, 82 years old, asks me to bring one every time we have a party at her house. The Valentine’s Individual Gringa “Sweetheart” Flans went over like a rocket taking off!! Everyone loves them and can’t get enough of them. I heartily recommend trying a Gringa Flan out. You won’t be sorry and you will be the hit of any party you bring one to!!

I have tried many flans. In fact I have ordered flan just to see where the best one in town was sold. Since I have had Gringa Flan, I am convinced I have had the best. The taste which is not eggy at all, the consistency, and not to mention the yummy toasted coconut topping – are all so delicious!!! Thank you, search is over!

There is a new flan in town and you must try it. It’s delicious, light and creamy! The awesome Gringa Flan is topped with dried coconut flakes. It’s a must for any occasion!!! You and yours will be delighted!!!

OMG. The flan is spectacular. I don’t like anything coconut, but your flan is absolutely delicious. It’s creamy, which I like and the sauce is perfect. I wouldn’t change anything. Someone did mention that people may think twice about buying flan from a gringa, but in terms of the flan itself, it’s flawless.

I’m on my second piece! Ok, here’s the scoop. I’m not a flan fan (usually the syrup is too sweet and the consistency of the flan is too “eggy” / runny). But I am a huge coconut fan, so I figured worst case scenario, I’ll eat the top. This was a great flan and here’s why: the consistency was perfect… smooth without being too custardy. Secondary factors – the syrup was just sweet enough without making me want to chug a bottle of water after and I love that the toasted coconut was crunchy and not gummy.

Wow…it was delicious. The team said it was ‘Amazing, better than Cuban, better than many restaurants…’ You have a Winner. We loved the coconut on top and the roasted part of the coconut.
